TRADESMAN HOLDERS

ADVANCED DESIGNS TO FIT THE JOB

Breaking away from all traditional standards of design and expected use, Scraperite takes the lead in the space with discontinuous innovations in product design and function built into the new Tradesman series holders. The redesigned Tradesman handles, used to hold the standard width 4cm (1 9/16 inches) plastic razor blades, now accommodate both rectangle or the new Scraperite CurveyTM blade in one holder.

The slightly larger size and added design contours make the product more comfortable in the palm of the hand and pushes the blade further outboard for better reach into recessed corners of window frames. The most important addition to the series, including both Dwarf and Standard, is the pronounced thumb press blade release system. This patent pending system allows for smoother blade release by depressing the blade enough to release it from the center locking pin and slide out.

PATENTS PENDING AND ISSUED

1. READY TO GO

All holders are packaged with blade inserted and ready for immediate use.

2. FLIP OR REPLACE

Edge sharpness breaks down under various conditions including heat generated by friction, surface smoothness, substance being removed and impurities that may get imbedded in the blade edge. Blade replacement is made simple by a patent pending blade release system used to depress the blade enough to free it from the central locking mechanism.

3. BLADE LOCK

Simple direct slide action click to lock system for a solid secure fit.

CORRECT HANDLING

Flexibility of both Scraperide plastic razor blade and holder design
Scraperite Tradesman series blade release system
Scraperite logo and lettering should face upward when using the scraper handle. The blade lettering should also face upward when inserting the blade, for best use. The best angle of attack being somewhere around 25º-30º degrees of attitude to the surface being scraped.

The Scraperite Tradesman series blade release system uses the flexibility of both blade and holder design. Depressing a center tab on the top of the holder, the plastic razor blade bends just enough to free it from the center locking pin and push it forward. A light touch and outward pulling motion across the bottom of the blade with the opposite hand frees the bade easily. Simply flip the double edged blade to the second usable side or grab a new one.

The development team's inspiration for creating a better release system came from watching parents and grandparents struggle with the original design, as dexterity becomes reduced The same basic system applies to the entire range of Tradesman Holders.
Blades should be inserted so the SCRAPERITE logo on both the blade and holder face upwards
