Our Story
Scraping should be safe, not damaging. For decades, metal scrapers caused scratched glass, gouged acrylic, ruined paint finishes, and painful injuries. In 2004, Scraperite changed the industry by inventing and patenting the plastic razor blade—a safer, non-scratch scraper blade designed to eliminate those risks.
Since that breakthrough, Scraperite has become the global leader in plastic scraper blades, offering multiple patented blade compositions optimized for various surfaces, substances, and solvents. Why Multiple Blade Compositions?
Each Scraperite blade type is defined by its unique material composition, not edge shape. Material determines two critical performance factors:
Pliability / Ductility
How the blade flexes against the surface. Softer plastics are safer for delicate materials like acrylic or paint; stiffer plastics provide more bite for heavy-duty residues.
Chemical Resistance
